The Diploma course is a one-year day course with regular University students enrolling each year. During the first semester, you will follow all study units and an optional study unit. During the second semester, you may follow one stream of specialisation, animal science, crop science or herb science. If you choose the animal science stream, you will have to follow a crop production study unit in the first semester, while if you choose the crop or herb science streams, then you have to follow an animal production study unit in the first semester. In the second semester, alongside the specialisation streams, you may follow a study unit on food systems and have to prepare a report on a topic, chosen and agreed upon earlier during the year.
